Metal Clay Jewelry Art Camp - Age 16+ All Artistic Levels
July 26-29, Mon thru Thurs, (4days) 9am - 1pm   $290 Instructor: Michela Verani
Learn the tools and techniques required to work in metal clay.  Students will sample silver, copper and bronze metal clays in this 4-day workshop, with a day focusing on each type of clay.  On the final day, students will learn finishing techniques and methods of coloring such as patina, resin and colored pencil.  All supplies are included in price but more clay may be purchased from instructor.

Fantasy Art Drawing - February 20, 10am-4pm     $80

Create fantasy figures with this start to finish approach bringing you characters to life with professional guidance and encouragement.

Open Studio w/Live Model - Feb 27, 10am-1pm    $15

This is a Self Directed Open Studio Session.  Male model partially covered.

Color Mixing - March 6, 10am-3pm                    $100
Instructor: Elaine Farmer - Continuation of color theory and how to apply its’ use. Through a number of mini paintings exercises, students will use the color wheel to further explore the use of a controlled palette. Premixed neutrals will be introduced.

Water and its Reflection-Pastel - March 13, 10am-4pm $120
Instructor: Sheila Psaledas - Sheila will demonstrate the methods needed to work beautiful water scenes. Class is geared to help all levels – anyone who has tried watery landscapes and feels the need to succeed will enjoy this.

Fantasy Art Drawing - March 20, 10am-4pm          $80

Framing Workshop - March 27, 10am-2pm             $80
Instructor: Elaine Farmer - Learn how to cut a mat using a hand held mat cutter. Mount your own art or photos to archival standards and complete the framing assembly in this workshop.

Collage Reflections - April 10, 10am-4pm              $125
Instructor: Ginny Barrett-Leach -  Fully explore a theme, personal message or create a memorial.  Bring photos, mementos or found objects to incorporate into your work.

Fantasy Illustration Workshop - April 17, 10am-4pm  $120
Instructor: Fred Czaja - This workshop offers an opportunity for aspiring artists to work on their fantasy illustrations under guidance of a professional illustrator. Learn how the pros creatively approach assignments for success. A must for fantasy art students interested in making dynamic pictures.

Hand Building Clay - May 8, 10am - 4pm           $125 
Instructor: Paul Haigh -“Hand-building" involves using a variety methods to make sculptural or functional pieces with clay.  In this class you will be introduced to the basics of slab, coil, and pinch-pot methods.  Starting with basic forms and simple tools, students will learn to experiment with texture and to unleash 3-dimensional creativity!

Watercolor Collage - May 15, 10am - 4pm     $95/$120 after April 24
Instructor:  Sheila Psaledas - Instructor will show you how to get great results fast with this very popular mixed media approach. 

Art for Decor vs. Art that Moves You - May 22, 10am - 4pm   $95/$120 after May 1
Instructor:  Michael James Toomy - This one day Workshop is designed to inspire artists & art lovers at all levels. No matter what artistic style or tradition you prefer, this workshop will encourage an open discussion about the essence of art. This workshop is about developing your creative process, not about a specific technique or style in painting.
 
All Adult Classes, Workshops & Camps are open to 16 years up and all materials are included unless otherwise state.  Saturday Workshops cancelled due to weather will be held on the following day, Sunday.

ALL YOUTH ART CAMPS DESCRIPTION
Each day will offer a different fine art experience working in different mediums. The most fundamental part of any painting is a good drawing so we will focus on understanding what makes a good composition. Each project will consist of a drawing, then using the drawing, students will render a painting. Exploring the different techniques using in watercolor, pastel & acrylic, students will gain the confidence to create a solid piece of artwork from the beginning.  All art supplies are included plus snack & drink. 8 stdnts max.

Looking for something different for your Childs birthday?
Why not have an ART Birthday Party? You bring the party for up to 10 kids and we will assign a host to lead a fun art activity!
